LATEST PROJECT
We were delighted and proud that our proposals for a children's community
play area at Poplars Primary School in Lowestoft were voted for by
thousands, winning funding of £50,000 for the project from the Peoples
Millions Lottery funding through a competition on ITV.
Over the next few months we will be working with community groups
at the school to bring the designs to life next summer.
The design will be built around an existing upgraded play area and will
have various feature areas:
- gardening and growing vegetables
- planting for wildlife
- playhouses
- quiet areas for reading and story telling
- new play equipment
- new 'fitness and activity trail

There will be tree and shrub planting with the help of eager local volunteers
and teaching sessions on gardening and maintenance.
